GI Sponge is a biologically available natural montmorillonite clay.  This product has a physical attraction to bacteria, nitrate-nitrogen and ammonia.  It acts as an effective buffer and assists in maintaining the normal digestive acid/alkaline balance and improves the levels of digestive enzymes.
